Dr. Amnon Peled, Ph. D. Founder and CEO

Dr. Peled is the founder of Biokine and has acted as its chief scientist from its inception. He is currently a senior research fellow at the Gene Therapy Institute, Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, where he directs a laboratory, focusing on the role of chemokines and chemokine receptor in cancer and immune diseases. Formerly, Dr. Peled worked as a scientist at Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc. in its Department of Inflammation. Dr. Peled has a Ph.D. from the Department of Cell Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Dr. H. Laurence Shaw, MD Chairman

Dr. H. Laurence Shaw is the founder of Human Life Sciences, an international life science consulting practice. Previously, Dr Shaw was Senior Vice President of Medical and Regulatory Affairs and Advanced Research at Abbott Laboratories. He was a board member of Revlon Health Care, Ltd. (UK) and Director of Medical and Technical Affairs. He served as Corporate Vice President of Research and Development at C.R. Bard, Inc. Dr. Shaw has held Chief Executive roles in several start-up companies, founded Manhattan Pharmaceuticals, a public company, and was its CEO and President. Dr. Shaw qualified in medicine from University College Hospital Medical School, London, UK, and retains both US and British medical licenses. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the British Royal Colleges of Medicine.

Dr. Orly Eizenberg, Ph.D. VP Research & Development

Dr. Eizenberg is an expert in the field of molecular biology, specifically in the modulation of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. She has a Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science followed by post-doctoral studies in brain research and relative disorders, also from the Weizmann Institute. Dr Eizenberg has acted as Biokine's VP R&D from its inception.
